Sally DuBois — sdubois411@aol.com

Sally DuBois has been teaching Suzuki Piano since 1985. She has attended summer institutes at Stephen's Point, Blue Lake,
Chicago and Snow Mass. Sally also did long term teacher training with Yasuko Joichi and is registered through Piano Volume
Seven with the SAA (Suzuki Association of the Americas). She holds a BA from Earlham College with a major in music and specifically
organ, as well as an MS degree in Guidance and Counseling from Purdue University. She is a member of the SAA (Suzuki Association
of the Americas), MTNA (Music Teachers National Association, and AGO (American Guild of Organists). Sally is employed as an
organist and children's chime choir director by First Evangelical Lutheran Church of Blue Island, Illinois.
When Sally is not teaching and playing piano or organ, she studies voice and sings with the NISO chorus. She also enjoys bicycle
trips, which she has gone on in France and Missouri, and she is a member of Mensa.

Kassie Meeks is the Founder and Director of the Northwest Indiana
Suzuki Conservatory, after having taught violin since 1996 and Suzuki violin since 2004. She began her studies in Indianapolis
at the age of four with Alberta Denk and continued her growth as a violinist under the instruction of Roland & Almita
Vamos, Andrew Smith, John McGrosso (a former pupil of Dorothy DeLay), Melissa Gerber Knecht, and Betty Gehring. She gained
world-class experience in the Chicago Youth Symphony Orchestra and the World Youth Symphony Orchestra at Interlochen, as well
as at the Weathersfield Music Festival in Vermont. Kassie has been concertmaster of and soloist with numerous orchestras,
and a member of various chamber ensembles (string quartets & duos; piano trios & sonatas).
Having studied
pedagogy with Edward Kreitman, Michele George, Dorothy Jones, and Mary Louise Wilson, Kassie is Suzuki trained and registered,
and Musikgarten certified and licensed. A graduate with top honors from Hillsdale College, Kassie is a member of the SAA (Suzuki
Association of the Americas), Musikgarten, SAI (Sigma Alpha Iota), ODK (Omicron Delta Kappa), PBP (Pi Beta Phi), Lamplighters,
and LIT (Lambda Iota Tau).
Kassie regularly performs at various special events and as a member of bands in several
musical genres. She particularly loves the art of improvisation—both in music-making and in life in general—and
she also enjoys standing on her head, doing cartwheels & handstands, reading & writing in a wide range of disciplines,
running, swimming, skiing (down mountains, given the slightest opportunity), piano, and composition.
